Announcing this year's Picture Day!

There is a lot of uncertainty as to when we will be able to be fully live in school this school year. Given this uncertainty, the school and Parent Association have decided to go DIY!

Introducing --- Lifetouch + Shutterfly Picture Day Snaps @home!

Using the Shutterfly app on your phone, you can create a school photo of your child(ren). You can take the photo directly through the Shutterfly app, or you can use a photo from your camera roll. The app will automatically add a school background. Simply download the Shutterfly app, scroll through the banner promotions on the homepage and select Picture Day Snaps @Home, then follow the steps in the app. They offer three packages ranging from $5-15.

Please follow the steps within the app and the following guidelines:

  • Elementary students, please wear standard uniforms as specified by the school, which includes collared "polo" style shirts, girls' jumper, sweater, and/or sweater vest, fleece.

Note: NO PE uniform (green t-shirt without a collar, the gray long-sleeved tee, or hoodie)

If you do not have a standard uniform, the school has approved a plain white polo shirt or a plain white button-up collared shirt.

  • Take the photo from the waist up.
  • Please select the blue background. It is available in all three packages and will help with a more consistent look in the yearbook.
  • It is very important that you upload the final digital image to your child's classroom folder on SmugMug, titled "Shutterfly School Portrait." Because of this unique format, the school will not be receiving a disc with everyone's photos like in normal years. If you do not do this step, we will not have your child's portrait for including in the school yearbook. In this case, your child's photo will be listed as "not pictured." *Please add your child's name as you would like it to appear in the yearbook in the comments/caption field in SmugMug. Alternatively, change the name of the file you are uploading to include your child's name.*
  • Please submit your child's photo by Friday, February 12, 2021, due to the manual process of adding each individual student's portrait into the yearbook.

If you do not follow the above guidelines, we may not be able to use your photo, or you may be requested to do a retake.

Thank you in advance for your participation, and we look forward to seeing your children's portraits!
